'FIFA 16' Cover Featuring Female Players Alex Morgan, Christine Sinclair! Photos, Release Date

Some weeks ago, we did post something about female soccer players imminently being included in the upcoming FIFA 16 game from EA Sports. With the hype and success that the United States women’s soccer team had recently accomplished, adding women to the long-time soccer game came up towards the end of May, and the only thing left was to figure out which among the leading female soccer players would get the privilege of being featured alongside Lionel Messi for FIFA 16. Among the names that were thrown into the mix included that of Carli Lloyd, a favorite of US President Barrack Obama and best known of course for scoring those three goals in the final match of the US against Japan. Other names include that of Hope Solo, Sydney Leroux, Megan Rapinoe and Abby Wambatch. With so many names to mention, who could possibly end up gaining the nod? After all the waiting, Alex Morgan beat out all the lovely and talented female soccer players for that honor, someone seen as the future face of the women’s national team. She is no doubt the US team’s go-to star and was someone who many are bound to approve. She beat out one of the more recognizable faces on the US team, Abby Wambatch. But the thing is, Wambatch is most likely nearing the end of her stint with the team. Additionally, she was used sparingly in the US team’s World Cup 2015 stint. However, Morgan is not the only female that will be getting the honor of being the first female player to be featured on the FIFA game covers. Morgan’s selection covers only the North American region so don’t be surprised to find a different pretty face for the FIFA 16 versions coming out in Canada. As far as the Canadian region is concerned, it would only be fitting to see a familiar face from the Canadian national team getting the nod. And that honor has been granted to Christine Sinclair, the all-time leading scorer for the said ballclub. “We know that in North America, in both the United States and Canada, women’s soccer is a very integral part of soccer culture and it’s also helping to grow the sport in North America. So we wanted to celebrate that by putting Alex on the cover” says David Pekush, Senior Global Product Marketing Manager for EA Sports. FIFA 16 is set to be released on September 22 which should now allow female gamers to use the different women’s national teams. Among the teams that they can choose include the United States, Canada, England and Germany.

EA Sports announce FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Summer Transfers

EA Sports have announced a batch of summer transfers for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team and the headline news is the inclusion of the likes of Petr Cech, Memphis Depay and Radamel Falcao. Even though FIFA 16 is on the way, EA are keen to keep the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team community as active as possible and in order to interest fans they've moved players to different clubs to reflect their real life transfers. The standout players are Cech and Depay who both made very big transfers this summer.www.gmusd.com The Czech Republic international joined Arsenal from Premier League rivals Chelsea having lost his place with the champions to Thibaut Courtois. Depay was voted as the Player of the Year in Holland last season and the 21-year-old secured his big move to Manchester United back in May. He has recently been pictured in training with his new club and fans are already getting very excited about seeing him in Ultimate Team. Radamel Falcao hardly made waves at Old Trafford last season but he was one of the more popular players on FIFA 15 Ultimate Team and he is now at Chelsea for a season-long loan. Steven Gerrard, Andrea Pirlo and Frank Lampard are all not necessarily popular players on FIFA 15 Ultimate Team but their moves to MLS have been updated and they still have a lot to offer. There will still be more changes to come over the summer and we will keep you updated as and when they occur.

'Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns' Reveals New Mist Champions for Stronghold PvP Mode-Screens

Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns continues the storyline that has the game world of Tyria facing off against the Elder Dragon Mordremoth. As the storyline unfolded through the game's Living World updates, players had speculated about one possible casualty in the war with Mordremoth. In one cliffhanger, Tyria's iconic hero Rytlock disappeared into a mysterious void as he chased the weapon to end the curse of the Foefire and drive the ghosts of Ascalon away for good. In Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, Rytlock not only makes a triumphant return from the mysterious Mists, he comes back with an all-new set of abilities. His return sets the stage for one of the expansion's most exciting additions, the introduction of an all-new profession called the Revenant that channels powers from some of the Guild Wars universe's most legendary heroes.www.mmozt.com In addition to these features, ArenaNet showcased every key new feature the expansion brings to the core game, covering additions to both PvE and competitive PvP and World vs. World modes. The trailer showcases each feature set, and set the stage for an ongoing series of updates now through launch that would delve much deeper into what each will bring to the expansion. Mist Champions is an all-new element for the Stronghold PvP mode set to debut in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. Stronghold brings a new competitive experience to Guild Wars 2, introducing a PvP mode rich with lore where players fighting as pirates or knights infiltrate enemy lines and try to kill the enemy lord. The addition of Mist Champions fundamentally alters the gameplay associated with this power struggle by allowing combatants to purchase highly specialized champions which can be summoned to turn the tide of battle. Mist Champions will give players three options to choose from, all of them with devastating super weapons at their disposal: Turai Ossa-Savour of Elona: This battle-hardened warrior can summon a protective barrier to aid the defense of friendly players and their Lord. Nika-Obsidian Flame Assassin: Long-time Guild Wars fans will remember this hero from another celebrated expansion, Guild Wars: Factions. Nika has the handy ability of being able to stealth a whole team at once, and their lord. Grymm Svaard-Sailor and Sword-for-hire: Supported by his flagship Nomad II, Grymm has the ability to call in cannon barrages which burn and knock down any enemies they hit. A blog post from Game Designer Branden Gee and Stronghold Game Designer Hugh Norfolk offers more details about Mist Champions and each of their abilities, which include war cries, passive skills and elite skills.www.gofifacoins.net
