FIFA 16 News Update: EA Sports To Release FIFA 16 Team Of The Year

EA Sports will be releasing the FIFA 16 Ultimate Team of the Year on January 11 during the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala in Zurich.

Although the obvious winner of the Ballon d'Or has already being leaked, EA will let us know who the best defenders, forwards, midfielders and goalkeeper in the world was last year.

EA will be releasing special blue In-Form Player cards in FIFA Ultimate Team for all the players listed in the FUT Team of the Year.

This is the most excited time of the year to play FIFA because some of the top rated players will see their stats peaked at the highest possible. So we could see some obvious names like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo stats going up to 97 or 98 which is insane.

EA will be releasing Goalkeepers and Defenders on January 11 with midfielders and forwards will be releasing during the week.

FIFA 16 was the best-selling game on Amazon last year, and the 10th best-selling item across its entire product line-up, the retailer has revealed.

While sales figures for the game have not been revealed, EA's latest football game managed to outsell Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which landed at No.2 in Amazon's best-selling video games of 2015, and Fallout 4 at No.3.

The retailer's report also suggests that Grand Theft Auto V was the fourth best-selling game of the year, with FIFA 15 in at No.5. Sales data is said to have been recorded between January 1, 2015-December 13, 2015.

The best-selling game in the run-up to Christmas, however, (which Amazon says is based on unit sales between November 1-December 13) was Fallout 4, ahead of Black Ops 3 at No.2 and Star Wars Battlefront at No.3.

It isn't yet known which game came out on top in the UK across all retailers.

Black Ops 3, meanwhile, continues to dominate the top of the weekly UK charts, holding on to the top spot for four weeks in a row to become the first No.1 of 2016.

With the hype and success that the United States women’s soccer team had recently accomplished, adding women to the long-time soccer game came up towards the end of May, and the only thing left was to figure out which among the leading female soccer players would get the privilege of being featured alongside Lionel Messi for FIFA 16. EA Sports have released the latest edition of their Ultimate Team Team of the Week for FIFA 15, and the headline news is that Manchester United and Arsenal stars Juan Mata and Olivier Giroud have made the side.
Both players scored braces over the weekend to help their teams to 2-1 wins, with Mata’s coming on Sunday at Anfield against Liverpool.
The first was a lovely finish with his weaker right foot but the second was simply sensational, a scissor-kick into the far corner.

When the PTR becomes available there are a few things that you should know about it: The PTR will be located in the Dallas Data Center As long as you have an Active WildStar subscription (NA or EU) you will be able to access the PTR. Note: This required the team perform magical technical manipulations to make this possible. “Boost” NPC's will be available in Nexus that will level you up and give you gear. “Boost” NPC's will only be available for players who have earned a level 50 on a Live Realm before 6/12. We typically take time stamps prior to when the next drop will hit the PTR. Example: Before Drop 2 hits the PTR, we'll take another time stamp. We are planning on leaving the PTR up and available 24/7, similar to any other Realm, for the remainder of the time that Drop 1 (Strain) needs to be tested. Frost did get a nerf, Frostbolt‘s damage has actually been decreased a bit.

I asked the question “How Fast Did You Level?” in a G+ World of Warcraft Community. (Here it is. If you’re on G+ you can join that community here.) I have received some interesting responses, such as getting from 1-90 in 23 hours (or less.) That’s rather mind boggling to me, so I asked and received some details. Here is what I was told:

    I farm the elixirs of wisdom ( +300% xp ) and I do not use RaF. (These Elixirs are going to take some time to farm.)
    LvL 1-10 took about 22 minutes with heirlooms and the guild bonus.
    10-18 took 20 minutes from soloing RFC.
    18-25 took 14 minutes doing Shadowfang Keep + dungeon quests.
    25-30 speed leveled through Northern Stranglethorn
    30-35 went down to the Cape of Stranglethorn
    35-40 went to Western Plaguelands
    40-45 still in Western Plaguelands
    45-50 went to Badlands
